Artificial intelligence technology can play an important role in different aspects such as planning and design, protection and control, operation management, as well as in different scenarios such as new energy output prediction and load prediction, ground fault identification, circuit breaker health prediction, non-invasive load identification and decomposition. Digital twin technology significantly improves the visibility, interactivity and intelligence of power grid data through modeling and data mapping. Hybrid AC-DC grid technologies will increase the capacity and efficiency of distributed energy access more effectively."
