(PRZWT)-On April 7th, according to foreign media reports, Tesla's super factory in Glenhead, Brandenburg, Berlin, has been continuously increasing production since its launch. The weekly production of Model Y reached 5000 vehicles by the end of last month.
With the increase in production at the Berlin super factory, Tesla has also gained stronger delivery capabilities in the German market, and their sales of electric vehicles in the German market have also significantly increased.
Foreign media quoted data from relevant German institutions as reporting that in the first quarter of this year, Tesla's sales of electric vehicles in the German market increased by 43.4% year-on-year.
However, data from relevant German institutions also shows that although Tesla's sales of electric vehicles in the German market increased year-on-year in March, the growth rate slowed down, with a total of 8703 vehicles sold, a year-on-year increase of only 8.2%.
Tesla's sales in the German market in March only increased by 8.2% year-on-year, which may be related to the large delivery in March last year, and it is not that the production growth rate of the Berlin super factory slowed down in March.
The Tesla Berlin Super Factory held its opening ceremony on March 22 last year, and the Model Y produced began to be delivered from that day. Due to production before the opening, a large number of electric vehicles produced by this super factory were delivered to consumers after the start of delivery, resulting in a considerable delivery volume.
Foreign media reported that although Germany has not yet released specific model sales data for March or the first quarter, many people expect Tesla's Model Y electric vehicle to once again become the most popular model.
