After a tourist survey initiated by the local government, it was found that the problem of baggage carrying is an important factor affecting the travel experience. Nearly 90% of the tourists surveyed said they need baggage checking services to reach transportation stations, and more than 30% of them said they are "very much in need". Fengchao saw this urgent need and helped Hangzhou carry out reform pilots to strengthen luggage storage services in crowded areas.
The first "Easy Tour" Fengchao deposit box has been launched in the Qinghefang Historical and Cultural District in Hangzhou. During the trial operation period, the average daily order at this point reached 13 orders, the average storage time of each piece was 2.21 hours, and the average usage turnover rate was 65%. This service is not only popular with users, but also attracted the attention of many authoritative media.
Fengchao plans to strengthen the laying of deposit boxes in transportation hubs, tourist attractions, large shopping centers and other passenger distribution centers according to the government's plan, with the goal of exceeding 100 + deposit boxes in the city by the end of 2024. At the same time, Fengchao and SF Express cooperate to help Hangzhou open up in-app and off-app logistics nodes, build a closed-loop process for baggage check, and promote "air-rail combined transportation" baggage services, so that users can enjoy the comfortable experience of "easy play".
