Shenzhen Air Rail Intermodal Logistics Demonstration Line, the first batch of transportation lines is Metro Line 11 from Futian Station to Biwan Station. During peak hours, the sixth carriage of Metro Line 11 at Futian Station is divided into logistics carriages, which adopt the isolation of people and goods to avoid the peak of subway operation, with a total of 32 subway trains.
The project establishes an integrated space for goods to be delivered, loading and unloading transmission, security inspection and sorting at the Futian hub, a cargo transit space at the Biwan subway station, and a new hub logistics station integrating modern rail transit and logistics facilities. It is operated by the Shenzhen SF Futian Metro Project Sales Department. According to the person in charge, Tan Zhubin, the sales department has 32 staff members and radiates the express shipments of the surrounding 24 sub-points of SF Express. At present, the daily average is 22,000 tickets, and the peak day is 30,000 tickets. After the express is adjusted from the area transfer mode to subway transportation, it has greatly promoted the utilization of public transportation leisure resources.

In order to ensure the safe and smooth delivery of express delivery, Shenzhen SF Express has customized a special cage car and established a full escort mechanism for one person, one cage or one car, one cage. Whether it is getting on and off the elevator, or entering and leaving the subway passage, it is barrier-free and avoids conflicts with passenger flow to the greatest extent. The cage car is equipped with a special rain cover and silent wheels to avoid the wet damage of express delivery in rainy days, and has the functions of sound noise reduction, vibration reduction, and ground protection to ensure the smooth operation of express delivery.
Shenzhen SF Express realizes the efficient operation of short-distance connection between the ground and the subway in-app through unmanned delivery vehicles. All express shipments of subway transportation are packaged and sorted, caged, and inspected on site at the Futian hub site, and then sent into the station by SF Express staff, and handed over to the unmanned delivery vehicle to the logistics carriage via a fixed route. At present, 10 unmanned shuttle vehicles have been put into the station, and the whole process is automated loading and unloading, each car is fully loaded with 500 kilograms. The vehicle uses a new fusion sensing scheme, with a sensing range of 120 meters, 360-degree environmental perception without dead ends, and can clearly identify traffic lights, lane lines, obstacles, etc.
