/PRZWT/On November 17th, the launch ceremony of the "17th 100-day Safe Gas Use Campaign of Shanghai's Gas Industry in 2025" was successfully held in Hongkou District, Shanghai. With the theme of "Empowering with Technology to Build a Defense Line, Controlling from the Source to Ensure Safety", representatives from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Hongkou District, Shanghai Gas, and the Shanghai Gas Industry Association gathered together. Shanghai Rinnai Co., LTD., as a vice president unit of the Shanghai Gas Industry Association, was invited to attend and jointly participate in this public welfare publicity activity for the citizens.
As a company jointly invested and established by Rinnai Group and Sheneng (Group) Co., LTD., Shanghai Rinnai also serves as the vice president unit of the Shanghai Gas Industry Association, actively promoting the popularization of gas safety for the general public. During the event, Qin Xiong, the deputy general manager of Shanghai Rinnai Co., LTD., stated in his speech that the Gas Association will continue to carry out a series of activities, including online gas safety publicity, assisting in the investigation of potential hazards at the gas user end throughout the city, and promoting the construction of a gas safety volunteer team. He further called on the general public to enhance their awareness of gas safety, actively cooperate with daily gas safety inspections, and proactively choose qualified gas appliances and accessories. If any potential safety hazards are found in gas equipment, they can call the gas service hotline for repair. Encourage users to update and use safe gas appliances, and jointly contribute to Shanghai's efforts to build a demonstration city where "every household uses gas and everyone understands safety".

Qin Xiong, the deputy general manager of Shanghai Rinnai Co., LTD., introduced that the "Muxiao" series of gas stoves are equipped with intelligent temperature-sensing probes and nano-scale chips to monitor the temperature at the bottom of the pot in real time, achieving four layers of safety protection: preventing excessive oil temperature, preventing dry burning of cookware, preventing forgetting to turn off the flame, and preventing accidental flameout. It can also be independently timed on both sides. It can automatically shut off the engine and cut off the gas supply at the set time, balancing safety and convenience.
