/PRZWT/ The computer brand Gigabyte Technology officially announced the CQDIMM (Clocked Unbuffered Dual In-Line Memory Module) technology at CES 2026, bringing a significant breakthrough to high-performance memory applications. By supporting the CQDIMM technology, the motherboard Z890 AORUS TACHYON ICE CQDIMM Edition and the BIOS tuning technology, with two 128GB memories, a full load capacity of 256GB, DDR5-7200 industry record, it has broken through the previous limitation of being unable to achieve both high capacity and high frequency simultaneously. 

Under the traditional DDR5 architecture, increasing memory capacity requires a trade-off between frequency and stability. Through its profound expertise in hardware and firmware design, Gigabyte has broken through the key bottleneck. By optimizing the circuit design of the motherboard, Gigabyte significantly reduces the load on the memory channels, effectively improving signal integrity. Even under high loads and long-term operation, it can still maintain stable performance. Additionally, by combining its exclusive BIOS tuning technology, it precisely optimizes the clock drive architecture, memory timings, signal synchronization rate, and voltage, releasing the ultimate performance.
