Traditional robot grinding relies on preset programs and lacks real-time perception and adjustment capabilities, making it difficult to handle variations in workpieces and complex working conditions. Yufeng Yu, the CTO of SofiSoft, explained at the meeting the fundamental limitations of such "blind" robots and officially launched the new generation of SofiSoft's "brain-eye-hand" integrated AI intelligent grinding solution. This technology uses high-precision 3D vision ("eyes") to real-time identify the position, shape and surface condition of the workpiece; the "artistic intelligence brain" ("brain") to conduct real-time analysis, decision-making and path planning; and relies on the high-response and high-flexible robotic arm ("hand") to precisely execute actions, thus for the first time building a complete "perception-decision-execution" loop in industrial robots. The core breakthrough lies in achieving real-time quality feedback and adaptive optimization.
After the grinding process is completed, the "eyes" automatically conduct quality inspections and feed the results back to the "brain". Based on this, the "brain" continuously optimizes the process parameters, enabling the robot to possess the human-like ability of "observation - thinking - adjustment", truly achieving the evolution from "program execution" to "intelligent artisan".
Ecological Collaboration: From Technology Output to Empowering Industries, Jointly Building a New Ecological System for Smart Manufacturing
Sophis is upgrading from a technology provider to an "industrial intelligent enabler" strategy.
