Bright and dazzling light and shadow
The small size model of the Baignoire bracelet watch showcases the unique style that blends Cartier's jewelry aesthetics with watchmaking craftsmanship through its exquisite dimensions and precise details.
The bracelet-style watch features over 400 brilliant-cut round diamonds set in the case, while the oval-shaped case is studded with 211 brilliant-cut round diamonds, creating a dazzling effect when combined. Under the curved synthetic sapphire crystal dial, the elegant silver-grain textured dial is revealed, along with the dark gray Roman numeral hour markers and the sword-shaped blue steel hands, adding charming details to the watch. The concealed double-button clasp blends seamlessly with the round bracelet-style strap. The crown is set with a diamond, completing the finishing touch.
The diamond setting process requires the jeweler to spend nearly 10 hours. Moreover, the proportion changes of the work, as well as the curve design of the case and the bracelet-style bracelet, make this process even more challenging.

Cartier combined the iconic elliptical shape of the Baignoire watch with the brand's classic blue and green color scheme - Louis Cartier referred to it as the "peacock pattern". The gemstones on the case were set using a novel and complex inlay technique, creating a layered effect. This three-dimensional design further highlights the brilliant colors of its 170 diamonds, 58 sapphires, 54 emeralds and 16 aquamarines. The dial is overall adorned with 262 brilliant-cut round diamonds using the "snowflake" inlay technique, giving the dial a dynamic and changing glow. The blue lacquered crocodile leather strap is paired with a snapback clasp, and it is set with 21 brilliant-cut round diamonds.
