The Shenzhen Bay 2022 Guitar Art Week, which lasted for three days from August 23 to 25, has temporarily come to a close with nine master classes, two lectures and three concerts. Although Typhoon Ma Ma was a minor incident, it did not dent the audience's love for classical music. Since the evening of October 24, Shenzhen residents have taken a different approach to participate in and watch master classes, lectures and concerts via webcast.

For more than 20 years, Wang Lijun has been committed to promoting classical guitar art in Shenzhen. As the vice president of Guangdong Guitar Research Association and the founder of Shenzhen Fugue Guitar Art Center, he has been the artistic director of Shenzhen Bay Guitar Art Week for four consecutive years. He hopes that through the development and implementation of various activities of Shenzhen Bay Guitar Art Week, To build a platform for the majority of classical music lovers to understand, learn and refine the art of classical guitar, so as to improve the overall level of Shenzhen classical guitar, so that Shenzhen classical guitar art talents to a higher level to the national, to the world, to show the background of Shenzhen art and culture, play a new chapter in the development of Bay Area art.

Parents who went to listen with their children said, "This kind of close contact with classical guitar masters is rare, everyone should seize the opportunity!"

Han Zhuo, a senior high School student of Shenzhen OCT High School, who has been studying classical guitar for nearly two years, said that she benefited a lot from Chen Shanshan's master class. She realized that as a performer, it is more important to express mood and artistic conception through the music, so that the audience and the performer can feel and enjoy the music together. "In the follow-up guitar practice, I want to focus more on thinking and transferring my thoughts to the piano," she said. Such close communication with classical guitar players helped Henjo understand that the guitar is an instrument close to the heart, and what the heart wants to express is revealed in the notes he plays.

Chi Chengxu is a Grade 3 student from the Middle School affiliated to Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In the master class of Mr. Xu Tuo, he played the Devil's Capriccio and thought that his performance was not very ideal. After class, Chi Chengxu said, "The master class allowed me to hear many details and problems that I hadn't noticed before, which benefited me a lot. I hope to participate again if I have the chance in the future.

The Shenzhen Bay Guitar Art Week has been held in Shenzhen and Nanshan for 4 years. We spare no effort to promote classical guitar and make classical music a part of the life of Shenzhen citizens. This year, we invited Li Zhi, lecturer of classical guitar at the School of Art of Sun Yat-sen University and Doctor of Music Art from the School of Music of the University of North Texas in the United States, and Chen Shanshan, former vice president of the School of Music of the Macao Academy for Performing Arts, who won the second prize in the 42nd Tokyo International Guitar Competition in Japan, to give two wonderful lectures at Nanshan Cultural Center for the public who love classical music.
